Child Safety Policy
Our commitment
Eytam builds Eytam and Eytam Hub for children, teenagers, and the parents who support them. Child safety is part of how our products are designed—not an afterthought.
Eytam is an age-aware AI companion. Eytam Hub is the parent companion that helps families configure protection settings, share relevant context, and receive meaningful alerts when support may be needed.

Designed for younger users
Eytam is built around younger users, not adapted from a general adult chatbot. Responses are weighed against what is suitable, understandable, and responsible for the child in front of it.
Communication adapts across vocabulary, sentence complexity, explanation length, tone, examples, safety boundaries, and level of independence based on the child's age and family preferences.
Potentially sensitive subjects can be detected and handled with additional care, including encouraging appropriate real-world support when needed.
Safety in every conversation
Eytam applies safety checks and age-aware behavioural rules throughout the conversation. The goal is not only to block inappropriate content, but to guide conversations in a safer, more helpful direction.
Explanations may be adjusted or simplified when needed. Stricter protection can apply for younger users.
When a configured safety rule is triggered, Eytam Hub can notify a parent or guardian about the nature of the concern—for example the alert type and severity—not the full text of the child's private chat.
Parent awareness without surveillance
Eytam Hub is built around meaningful alerts and safety signals, not constant monitoring of every message.
Parents can create custom alerts for topics or situations that matter to their family—such as bullying, school difficulty, sensitive topics, or family events.
Parents may share relevant family context to help Eytam respond more thoughtfully. Context guides the AI; it does not label the child.
Children still need room to ask questions and explore ideas. Eytam is designed to balance child safety, parental awareness, personal privacy, age-appropriate independence, and family trust.
What Eytam is—and is not
Eytam can support learning, creativity, organisation, curiosity, and communication practice in an age-aware environment.
Eytam is a digital support tool. It does not replace parents, teachers, healthcare professionals, counsellors, or other trusted adults.
If a child may be at risk of harm, parents and guardians should use their own judgment and seek appropriate real-world help in addition to any in-app safety features.
Parent and guardian responsibilities
A parent or legal guardian must create and manage child profiles in Eytam Hub, pair devices, and configure protection and alert settings.
You are responsible for how alert settings are configured, who has access to the parent account, and supervising your child's use of technology in line with your family's values and applicable law.
By using our apps, you represent that you are authorised to manage the children linked to your account.
Reporting concerns
If you have a child-safety concern about Eytam or Eytam Hub, contact us at [email protected].
Please include enough detail for us to understand the issue—for example the product involved, the child profile affected, and what happened—so we can review and respond appropriately.
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a trusted adult right away.
Ongoing improvement
We continue to refine our safety architecture, alert systems, and age-aware behaviour as our products evolve and as we learn from families using Eytam.
We may update this Child Safety Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted at this URL with an updated "Last updated" date.
